After successfully purchasing our bus, the next big hurdle was figuring out where to keep the thing.
While there is more than enough space in our yard to stash a bus, the fact that it isn’t street accessible was a deal-breaker. So we did what any sensible people would do and put an ad on craigslist. Let’s just say that we received several interesting replies that ultimately didn’t work out.
Fortunately, it turned out that two friends own a sizable lot in town and have awesomely agreed to let us park the bus there during renovations.
Given our lack of bus-driving experience, getting the bus into their yard without accidentally turning things into a demolition derby seemed daunting. Needless to say we were very grateful when more experience folks volunteered to assist us!
